No single artefact did more to launch the climate change scare than Professor Michael E Mann’s famous – or should that be infamous? – 1998 hockey stick graph, showing an unprecedented and sudden rise in global warming. Widely criticised on many scientific counts it is again under fire, in a Washington courtroom drama significant for both free speech and climate science.
A 12-year defamation battle between Mann and the witty and acute conservative Canadian pundit Mark Steyn is culminating in Room 518 in D.C.’s Superior Court, after Steyn wrote a piece in National Review in 2012 referring to Mann as ‘the man behind the fraudulent climate-change “hockey stick” graph, the very ringmaster of the tree-ring circus’. Scientist blogger Rand Simberg, quoted in Steyn’s piece, is also being sued.

Media Pushes False Claims of 2023 Being “Hottest In 125,000 Years” With the end of 2023 fast approaching, and with some media outlets already pushing the false idea that 2023 was the “hottest In 125,000 years,” we can be assured that when the final temperature numbers come out in January, the media will uncritically push this story as if it were fact, rather than speculation by a group of climate scientists. Alarmists have been building up to this false year’s-end claim, asserting at various times throughout the year that a particular July day or that the summer, were the hottest on in history, or at least in the last 125,000 years.

Anybody who claims that this year is the hottest for 125,000 years is fraudulent. The climatic evidence we do have is overwhelming, and it tells us that the climate has been much warmer than now for most of the last 10000 years, since the end of the ice age. During the lockdowns, numerous globalists and globalist connected climate researchers publicly expressed joy at the suggestion that covid lockdowns could be useful for reducing carbon emissions. The phrase “climate lockdowns” started circulating around major conferences and in various globalist funded studies.
These studies obviously show a precipitous drop in human based carbon emissions during the lockdowns, but still do not provide any evidence that man-made emissions actually cause climate changes. This remains the underlying con game of the climate narrative – climate researchers with access to billions in government funds and think-tank funds happily operate on the ASSUMPTION that emissions cause warming, when in fact they have zero evidence to support this position. Correlation is not causation.
Almost all climate crisis claims are based on records of a little over 100 years old. The Earth’s climate history is vast and there have been numerous warming periods much hotter than today. All of these warming events occurred during periods of ample animal and plant life and without human industry to blame.

20 August, 2023 – Scientists say the Sun drives the climate.
A new study by nearly two dozen scientists found that rising global temperatures may be caused by the sun, rather than carbon dioxide.
According to The Australian, a paper by 23 solar physics and climate science experts from 14 different countries, the 16 most prominent datasets of solar output show solar energy is more of a cause for global warming than carbon dioxide.
The study was published in the journal Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics, per Western Journal.
